It is Day 153 since I began posting my Daily Food Diary. 🙌. It is amazing how fast this year is going – one day at a time. 🥳
Yesterday, was a very welcome smoke free day.
We were able to take Molly for a short walk over to the dogpark. Her friend Willy was there. They didn’t do a lot of running, but Molly did take one jog across the park when she noticed I was walking the perimeter checking for dog 💩. Willy took a leisurely stroll when he snatched Molly’s water bowl and tried to sneak off with it. 😂
Yesterday afternoon, I was finally able to get outside to do some yard and garden work.

Today isn’t looking too promising. I was just outside and it appears the smoke is drifting back in. This could be a laundry and baking day.

That’s it for today. Take care and have a great day! 💞🌞

Your garden pond looks marvelous, even if the gnome has disappeared.

Very beautiful flowers and pond, Anne!! Looks great. I think you need a metal watering can. 😂😂 I’m glad that you guys got a walk in yesterday, the smoke has made its was to Georgia and Florida so says The Weather Channel. Very sad, pray for Canada. 🇨🇦🙏🏻😞

No smoke here yet today, Anne. 🤞that it stays away from you too. I’m glad that you’re getting time in your happy place again!

I just picked up a metal watering can. Dan said “If you think your Dog can’t destroy it, you are crazy”. I might be crazy. 🙂. Yes this smoke is insidious. Just come and go so far today.

Thank you, Terry! It comes and goes here but not too bad. Have a great day! 💞💝

I don’t think Molly can damage a metal can as much as a plastic can. Recycle! 😊

I will use the plastic one as a decoy…

It rained a bit here but that’s ok. I got the laundry done, cleaned the kitchen, and baked an apple crisp. 👍

So glad to hear you were able to go to the dog park for awhile. Sorry to hear the smoke came back. Anne, your plants are so beautiful. I am sorry but, I can’t help but giggle at Molly’s casualties. She is enjoying her life to the fullest. Have a great day and I hope the smoke is not bad.

Thank you, Mags. It looks like it is going to be another good day. It is such a relief to get these ‘break’ days from the smoke. A couple of years ago it was relentless. Dan had to do all of our yardwork and the garden. Molly does enjoy being Molly! 😁

Poor thing looks worse now. It rained. Molly played with it in the mud. Good thing Dan bought me a new one!
