Daily Food Diary – Day 227 of 365

This is Day 227 of my Daily Food Diary!  πŸ’žπŸŒž

Time is such a strange concept.  Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years… All are set in stone.  But,  this year is just flying by.  I can’t believe I have been posting every day for 227 DAYS in a row.

While this year has been passing ridiculously fast, this week has been dragging on forever!  This is the longest week since I retired.  😳

At least, the days have been productive this week.Β  Yesterday, Dan and I emptied our upright freezer and defrosted it.Β  That was a job and then some, but it was great to have it all done and everything packed back in, in some kind of order.

I love those Dollar Store containers for keeping things organized!

Other than cleaning our deep freezer, We walked Molly, I did my aerobic workout, I did my Friday weights and cardio, AND last night I took another spin on my ‘new to me’ treadmill.   Sixteen minutes and I got to Level 3.   I haven’t attempted the incline yet. πŸ™„

  1. Well done on the treadmill, Anne. When I used a treadmill, I seldom used the incline because I wanted to mimic my outdoor walks as closely as possible and hills on the walking paths around here are few and far between. Time does go by quickly and, as we age, even more quickly with each year. My Dad’s favourite saying was β€œDon’t Blink” after he heard the song of the same name.

  2. Thank you, Terry. We do a bit of hiking out at Wascana Trails and Fairy Hills in the fall. There are some inclines that I would like to be more confident on, so at some point I will probably try the incline on the treadmill. (Although it’s my ‘declines’ that are the worst. πŸ™„) Time really sped up once we had grandbabies. Our Maddy is taking Drivers Training right now. If it was up to me she would still have training wheels on her two wheeler.πŸ’ž

  3. Thank you, Mags! This is probably the best year I have had in decades. One case of bronchitis and our smoke days haven’t been too bad this year. πŸ‘ Have a great rest of your day, Mags! πŸ’“
