Daily Food Diary – Day 263 of 365

Today is Day 263 of my Daily Food Diary! πŸ’–

Today is Sunday and I am looking forward to a laid back day, much of which I intend to spend out in the gazebo reading and enjoying this beautiful, sunny, unseasonably warm day. πŸŒžπŸ’ž

Yesterday was a fairly laid back day as well with a couple of notable exceptions.

Late in the evening, our granddaughters Maddy & Genie,  stopped by for a quick visit and a little quality time with Molly.

They also dropped off a couple of candles that daughter Jen picked up for me at Superstore.  They smell amazing!

The other notable moment for me was making a snack for Dan and I earlier in the day.Β Β  Not only did I open the new uncracked jar of cheese with my bare hands, but I also tore open the bag of Hint of Lime tortilla chips likewise! πŸ’ͺΒ  Since I began taking collagen supplements, less than three months ago, I cannot believe the difference they have made. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–

  1. Congrats on the new found strength, Anne! I look forward to the same. My wrist and arm strength have never been great, so am hoping the collagen will help support that. I’m also following your lead and will work out with light weights when we get to Texas. (I left my weights, yoga mat, etc there). We also have a little gym in our park, so I’ve resolved this year to use it for more than my weekly check in (I weigh myself on the vintage platform scales there). Thank you so much again for the ongoing inspiration you provide every day! πŸ’•πŸ’ͺ

  2. Thank you Terry! I cannot believe how much the collagen has helped me. Of course I fully intend to keep up the workouts and keep working on my diet. I’m glad you are going to start the weight workouts. Apparently that is very important – especially for women. I have never had upper body strength so I am excited about that. Life never gets easier but it sure helps us to deal with it, as we get stronger. πŸ˜πŸ’–

  3. It’s wonderful that the collagen is helping you so much, Anne! I love scented candles too. I remember the recent header image with the girls in the pool, they have grown up! Time moves much too quickly, doesn’t it… Have a great new week, guys! ☺️
