Today is Day 355 of my Daily Food Diary! π
There are 10 DAYS left of 2025 and 10 Days before I meet my goal of maintaining and posting my Daily Food Diary for a full year!
Being retired and somewhat of a homebody hermit, meeting my goal has not been that challenging, for the most part.

My WINS for the Day today:
1) Wrapping ALL of our Christmas gifts yesterday! There are a few things about the Christmas Season that I really do enjoy. Wrestling wrapping paper, ribbons, and tape is NOT one of them. But, I am done for 2025 so YAY!
2) Son Dan & Family arrived safe and sound yesterday. So good to see all of them, including Gabby, who is at the University of Alberta in Edmonton this year (working on completing her Psychology degree).

3) A feel good yesterday and a great night sleep. (8 solid hours – slept like a rock!)
BONUS WIN – Maintaining peace and joy despite vacuum cleaner dying AND one perfectly aimed fling of Molly’s tail taking out a full can of rootbeer and sending rootbeer foam flying from the coffee table to the carpet, to the wood floor, to the sofa, to the wall, stool, desk, Cason, and Gabby.
My Daily Food Diary WIN for the day..
Cutting back (significantly) on sugar this year. For most, this would be a good thing, for me it is great! With multiple lung issues (asthma, bronchiectasis, and COPD) plus an allergy to yeast – sugar is a bad thing – and a big weakness of mine! Especially CAKE with frosting! This year cake was minimal. ππͺπ

Thank you, Mags. We have had worse spills and such. I was thinking of the time Jennifer tripped going from the kitchen to the living room and flung a huge bow of spaghetti across the room – but I think Danny still holds the record for puking all over the Christmas tree, carpet and drapes – after eating a couple of cinnamon buns and drinking a large glass of chocolate milk. Good times! π

Wow, Molly made a major mess! That would make me grumpy. I’m glad you had a great night’s sleep, so important! Sugar is basically poison to the human body as it has zero nutrient value for us. Not unlike feeding birds bread!

She didn’t do it on purpose – Im sure she didn’t even realize it was her tail that did it.

Right, she had no idea! That tail just does what it wants to some degree as does a cat’s tail.

Except Molly’s tail is bigger that the average cat. π

Oh, my! I think I just might agree with your record. I hope you make it through the holidays with no falls or spills.

I plan to make it through the holidays on my feet, but we did have a broken glass incident and a can of 7up that went awry. Small house/clutzy family. π
