May 11th

This will be another quick drop by…

First off, belated Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there – and to all the offspring who honored their mothers yesterday.

I had a very nice nice day…

I was doubly blessed with flowers with the bouquet on the left from Dan and the one on the right from Granddaughter Genie and her  husband  Alec.

Alec was working yesterday, but Genie came over to drop off the bouquetΒ  and stayed for aΒ  visit with her brother Rory.

Son Dan, daughter Jennifer, and granddaughter Maddy sent their best wishes.

My sister’s and I exchanged Mother’s Day greetings.

And Dan made supper last night while I relaxed…

Meanwhile, I am hopefully in recovery mode.Β  As much as that pseudomonas aeruginosa has been a stubborn bug to shake, the side effects from the drugs I have been prescribed are my biggest issue at this point – and of course it will take some time to rebuild my strength.

Fortunately, our weather has greatly improved.Β  I am spending as much time as I can outside enjoying the fresh air and puttering around the garden.

That is it for today.Β  Take care and have a great day! πŸ’ž

  1. Happy Mother’s Day, Anne!! I’m glad you had a wonderful day. πŸ™πŸ»β€οΈ I hope the bug gets the heck out of you very soon. I’m a believer since I was a kid that being outdoors when you are sick can be a huge help in shaking a bad cold, flu or anything else. I remember circa 1969 being sick, my folks bought me a gas powered mini car that I loved playing with outdoors and I felt sooo much better!
