I love snow, but it’s a bit early for it here in North Carolina. We’re still enjoying autumn trees.

I will definitely enjoy not having to drive back and forth to work in it this winter! Snow is one of those things you can love or loathe depending on one’s circumstances.

I didn’t relish driving on slippery roads to get to work, either. Snow here generally melts the same day it falls, and I always have the choice of staying home.

I don’t imagine that your vehicle is as snow and ice prepared as our Jeep Cherokee is. We even have a special setting on the 4 wheel drive to deal with snow and ice.

That’s great that you have a vehicle that is good in snow. We lived on Long Island (New York). My best car was a stick shift Toyota, and I always made it home.

I have always made it home but I had a Taurus station wagon years ago that made it to the insurance yard behind a tow-truck and in the back of a garbage truck. I thought that was too funny. (Luckily my son who was driving it when it was hit was uninjured – but he still did not find the garbage truck thing particularly amusing).
