It is Day 214 of my Daily Food Diary. ๐๐
It was a busy day yesterday and today isn’t much better.ย I am checking in late, but better late than never. It still counts!
Saturday is my serious house clean of the week.ย After I got my aerobic workout done, I scrubbed down the kitchen, vacuumed, and moved furniture to do a thorough sweeping of the living room and the kitchen.ย I also washed clothes and bedding, and we gaveย Molly a thorough brushing.ย And, I fed the squirrels TWICE.
I also did a bit of garden/yardย work.ย A BIG bit.ย I watered EVERYTHING, fertilized the flowers and vegetables, and sprayed the tomatoes cucumbers, and peppers.ย My ailing tomato plant is still alive, but hanging by a thread.ย ย Most of the tomatoes are suddenly thriving, but the San Marzano are still fighting the rust fungus.ย
By suppertime, I was ready for something simple supper.

We don’t have them often but I think they are better now. Still way too much salt!

Salt is a huge problem these days, Anne, just walk through your grocery store and randomly check the sodium number. I just mentioned salt in my reply to you on my blog… Hang in there, Dan!

When I was growing up, we didnโt have TV Dinners at home, and I think Iโve tried maybe three or four over the course of my lifetime. Yours looks pretty good, Anne. Good for you for continuing to post, even on busy days!
