Mom use to make soup like this and she’d add rice.

That sounds good! My mother used to put rice in soup but I think it was more often in beef soup.

I use to wish for noodles but rice is hearthy.

I am sure, I would enjoy either way. I love egg noodles but rice would be a good change. I love barley in beef soup.
