It is another damp and cool day so we took the opportunity to spoil Kat with a fresh batch of dogfood. It’s a dog’s life!

Thank you for joining us for the most exciting part of our day! Dan did all the chopping and cleaning, while I did the shredding and cooking. Kat took her supervisor position seriously – she sampled every vegetable as Dan cleaned them. They all passed her taste test. ๐
Hope everyone had a nice day! See you tomorrow.
Does Kat eat this as part of her diet?

She gets a bit every morning with her regular dry dogfood. For supper she just gets dry. We make sure everything in the food we make is good for her but her dry food ensures she gets all the calcium, etc that she needs.

We started doing it when we had our older dog, Casey. She got so she couldn’t eat the regular hard food and refused to eat the special senior food from the vet. We started researching dog nutrition and decided we could make her food that she would eat and that would be better specifically for her. When we had to put her down, we just kept making the food for Kat as a supplement for now and so she will be used to it later.

Thank you, Derrick. Kat was right into it this morning. We used quite a bit of fresh herbs this time and she loves herbs (she eats the leaves off of the plants outside).

You left out one ingredient “love”. Lucky little Kat getting all that yummy, healthy food prepared for her.
