A large ‘piece of my mind’ has been busy struggling to get in and stay in a good place lately. I could go into any number of situations that have been driving this recent funk.
- Federal Canadian politics
- Saskatchewan provincial politics
- City of Regina politics
- People who whine about taxes
- People who whine about everything they want the government to pay for (with taxes)
- Covid – Version 4.0
- Cranky Facebook people who whine about everything
- Family issues
- Health issues
- FALL – dreary, dusty, chilly, FALL
- Upcoming holidays ππππ¦
So many reasons to be funked! But the bottom line is LIFE is PRECIOUS! Too precious to be wasted being funked out for any reason. Nothing on the list is worth more than the quality of my life.
So once again, I am just going to focus on LIFE! and the things that matter. Because life is too precious to let it slip away unappreciated. π

That is it for today folks!
Take care and have a great rest of the day!π
Great photos, Annmarie! The bacon looks yummy, it looks like Kat had a haircut, so cute! It really is so darn hard to keep a positive mindset today. Seems things are slowly sliding downward as the year’s pass which is a negative statement but… It’s what I see. I’m thinking bacon sandwich with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions… ππππ¨π¦

It does seem to be harder these days but the last thing I want to do is go over to the dark side! Too darn crowded over there already. Kat went to the groomers yesterday. π. Yep – did think bacon belonged on the plus side. ππ. Have a good one, John!

Carrots are too cool especially since they look like they’re gazing out the window together.
Feeling funky? Add some 60s music to your meditation then send a message to your sister telling her what old memories came back to you.
“Hey Jude”? ” Baby I love you to want me”? “Feelin groovy”?

I love the picture of the two carrots that are intertwined. Good for you for trying to focus on the positives. I’m trying to take a break from the news after the federal election. What a complete waste of time and money.

I agree, except it got our Premier and all off the Yahoos wound up in Saskatchewan so we have a massive pity party going on here now. π€¦. I was thinking yesterday that I have to get over to your blog and veg out for a while with some of your gorgeous posts. πποΈ

Great post Anne and beautiful photos. You certainly have the right idea. It is amazing how many positive things come to mind if we just stop and take the time to focus on them. Life is too short to waste our time on things we cannot do anything about and all the negative going on in so many places around the world. Be safe and have a wonderful day.

Your list of βfunkdomβ is so relatable except instead of Canadian problems we have oodles of USA problems and itβs easy to get down and out about it. I strive to be thankful for the good things that remain in my lifeβ¦.
