While going through my archives looking for today’s post to update, I came across this one highlighting our trip to Ontario some years ago. Every photo in this post still holds the happiest of memories for me. ๐
Along with the beautiful Ontario scenery and sites, I will always carry the fondest memories of the people that we met during our visit.ย From the time we stepped off of the airplane at the Pearson International Airport, to our visit to Construction Specialties Inc., to our time spent at restaurants, hotels, shops, and tourist attractions,ย the people of Ontarioย were exceptionally friendly, considerate and helpful.ย They made our visit truly special.๐

I have only one update for this post – Dan’s sister has moved back to Ontario and I cannot wait until we can go to visit her and this beautiful province! ๐

That is it for today. Take care and have a great day!๐
That’s a fantastic view, AnneMarie! Wow. I bet it sounded as good too. I lived in Ontario in the 1980s and it was a great experience. So many friendly people. Pearson Airport is in Toronto as you know and is known as YYZ to the pilots.
During the 1980s, the rock band Rush wrote a song called YYZ, basically hinting at Toronto and the airport. Rush has called themselves The Pride Of Canada which I totally agree with! Their drummer, Neil Pert died a couple of years ago from cancer.
I will always consider him the very very best drummer I’ve ever heard. I had the privilege of seeing them in concert in Detroit back then.

Dan would be more familiar with Rush than I am. (I’m a little bit country ๐). Our experience with Pearson Airport was amazing – coming and going. ๐

Thank you, Frony. I don’t know if you follow ‘wandering Canadians’ on WordPress but they post gorgeous photos of Ontario parks.

North of Toronto is a small town I basically spent every summer at. I miss it terribly and think itโs just beautiful. We went in 2019 then covid hit. I canโt wait to return!!

Loved the pictures! The closets I have come to Ontario is seeing Niagara Falls from the Canadian side. Lovely. My parents honeymooned way back in 1949 in the area and rode on the Maid of the Mist. Going to Niagara Falls for a honeymoon way back when was the thing to do! Thanks for sharing.
