Back in November of 2019, I was looking forward to the return of summer. Moving into February of 2022, I am beyond excited as I anticipate the coming spring and summer. π

The only way to update this 2019 post, is to add a few ‘Summer in Saskatchewan’ photos from 2020 and 2021. For anyone living north of warmer weather, I hope this is a little something to brighten your day and warm your heart. πΉ

The beauty of a Saskatchewan summer! It cannot get here soon enough, even if it is well worth the wait.
That is it for today. Take care and have a great day! π
Very beautiful photos, AnneMarie! The good old summertime. In photo two, the stucco on the wall looks just like the stucco on my home. Stay positive, think Spring!

Oh, my! What beauty I see in those photos. We have sleet and ice on the ground here and it is in the low 20’s right now. I am so looking forward to spring and summer.

I enjoyed your photos, even though I prefer snow to sweltering.

Thank you, Anne! We don’t get too much ‘sweltering’. Sometimes a few days above 30C but it is never humid. That I couldn’t handle.

I grew up in west Tennessee, about 10 miles from the Mississippi River. Humid? You bet! Long Island, being an island, was always damp and could be awfully hot for two weeks in the summer. I have loved every minute of life in the mountains of NC. It’s rarely hot and humid on the same day.

Oh how I Love spring and summer! Your photos are so beautiful and even though we don’t have snow on the ground we have had a week of cold winds. My hands are so chapped and my skin itches it’s so dry. I’m using gobs of lotion the last couple of weeks!! Sending some warm hugs your way!! π
