It has been a long time coming, but we are finally seeing signs of Summer in Saskatchewan.
These are a few of the photos I took yesterday while wandering around. If I had a theme for our yard this year, I am not seeing it yet. The bits and pieces of colour seem pretty random.

That’s it for today. Take care and have a great day! 🤗💞
I like the variety of color, and especially like that orange pansy.

Beautiful flowers Anne. Such pretty colors. Those are some of the most beautiful petunias I have ever seen.

Thank you! This must be the year for variety. I helped my daughter-in-law pick out her flowers a few weeks ago and she ended up with every color in the rainbow. I think she was planning a purple theme. 😊

Thank you, Mags! I think so too. Petunias typically do so well here that it is nice to see the varieties that are available nowadays.

Great job with your seed starting! I don’t seem to have the patience for it. Lovely flowers.

I wish I had more room for it, but have been lucky with how things have gone for the last couple of years. Your cake is delicious, btw! Thank you for posting the recipe. 😋

Do you happen to know when the first and last frosts are where you live? I am curious to see if we are in similar planting climates.

They vary. I would say typically in October and May, but we have had snow and freezing temps in every month except August. But our first big freeze is typically later in October and the last one mid May.

Only two weeks longer than here. They put ours from April 30 to October 30, but like you we can get frost later and earlier.

I would have thought there would be more of a difference.
